Do You know Why 100 GB Pendrive capacity is really 93.13 GB ?
As the Pendrive capacity increases we will loose some MB
BECAUSE
Pendrives and Hard disk MANUFACTURER'S consider
1 KB = 1000 Bytes
1 MB = 1000 KB
1 GB = 1000 MB
8 GB = 1000 * 8 = 8000 MB ( approximately equal to 7.81 GB)
Thus the reason minimum space will be losing...........
But Actual capacities are
1 MB = 1024 KB
1 GB = 1024 MB
8 GB = 1024 * 8 = 8192 MB
That is the difference between Original size and the Shown size of the PENDRIVES AND HARD DISK'S
Size is Loss is
100 GB ---- 93.13 GB 6.87 GB
250 GB ---- 232.83 GB 17.17 GB
500 GB ---- 465.66 GB 34.34 GB
1 TB ---- 931.32 GB 92.68 GB
2 TB ---- 1862.64 GB 185.36 GB
As Capacity increases The loss will be Increased..............
